BSc. (Hons) Aquaculture in UMS

TE : What did you do during your free time while waiting for graduation ceremony?

Right after I finished my internship, I took a few weeks off at home. I used this break time to update my resume and also start to apply for part time jobs since there is 2 months gap before my graduation. I managed to work as an administration management in a bridal company. Besides getting extra money, I also gain new working experience to prepare myself for work using my degree.

TE : What do you think about internship?

I did my internship in Kompleks Perikanan Likas for 12 weeks. Internship is good and useful especially for final year students. I was able to gain experience and knowledge, both in theories and practical. It helped me to learn and adapt with real working environment. I communicate mostly with the staffs and other intern students which helped to improve my communication skills.

TE : What did you do during your free time while waiting for graduation?

Before my convocation, I applied for several engineering jobs so that I have enough money to pay for my graduation expenses. As an undergrad student, it is difficult to find jobs that matches with my degree since I haven't officially graduated yet. But I managed to get a job as a site engineer and now I can pay for my own expenses without relying to others.

TE : What do you think about internship?

I did my internship in Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd. Keningau for 12 weeks. For me internship is good because other than learning more about the things you have studied, you will also learned a lot of new skills that you never faced in University. Other than that, you can learned about the company's management and how they handle and solve problems.
